Cheese Pairings
We’ve compiled our favorite cheese pairings to assist you in creating a delicious snack or assembling a beautiful and harmonious cheese and charcuterie board. When buying cheeses or cured meats, we suggest getting approximately 1.2-2 oz per person for each variety. It’s always preferable to have leftovers than to risk having too little. Any excess cheese can be stored in the refrigerator by wrapping each piece individually in parchment paper and then securing it with aluminum foil to maintain freshness.
french baguette
sabatino tartufi truffle honey
ponce de leon manchego
A delightful and sophisticated combination that starts with a creamy and nutty Manchego from Spain, followed by a sweet and earthy truffle honey, and finishes with the chewy and crunchy texture of a freshly baked French baguette.
2's company crisp
jammy yummy (local!) caramleized onion jam
kerrygold aged cheddar
This is our take on a traditional ploughman’s sandwich, without all that bread to get in the way. The Jammy Yummy jam, which is locally made, is sweet and savory and complements the grassy Irish Cheddar. Any of the 2s company crackers add a sweet crunch to the combination, but we recommend the Cranberry Pumpkin seed variety.
boulangerie 255 belgian waffle
Mike's hot honey
la bonne vie goat cheese
If you love the idea of breakfast for dinner, why not try our breakfast inspired cheese pairing? Here we pair tangy, spreadable goat cheese, topped it with spicy honey, and slathered on a sweet and fluffy waffle. Rise and shine! This also works well with St. Pierre Brioche waffles or fresh-baked homemade waffles.
2's company crisp
jammy yummy (local!) tomato jam
cowgirl creamery mt tam
Mt Tam cheese from Cowgirl Creamery is a triple cream cheese. As it matures and ripens, the center of the cheese gets more creamy, gooey, and spreadable. This combo features rich flavors of butter, herbs, and tomatoes that will truly get your taste buds grooving! Try it with the cashew and rosemary flavor of 2’s Company crisp!
vicky's bakery flatbread
principle san daniele prosciutto
belgioioso parmesan
A delicate prosciutto that simply melts in your mouth needs the light, yet crispy, canvas of a flatbread cracker. The aged parmesan adds a bold complexity for an overall robust pairing.
2's company sesame wafer
dalmatia sour cherry spread
van kaas goat gouda
This pairing is as gouda as it gets! This grassy goat gouda is perfection for your pallet, especially when atop a crunchy sesame wafer then slathered in sour cherries!
